瑜伽《佛学大辞典》
(术语)Yoga,一作瑜誐。男声呼曰瑜伽,女声呼曰瑜祇Yogin,与物相应之义(瑜祇Yogin为瑜伽Yoga之修行者,其体声第一格为Yogi女声为Yogini此解及末出大日经疏之解有疑)。相应有五义:一与境相应,二与行相应,三与理相应,四与果相应,五与机相应。此中显宗多取理相应之义,瑜伽唯识之瑜伽是也。密教取行相应之义,瑜伽三密之瑜伽是也。唯识述记二本曰:“言瑜伽者,名为相应,此有五义,故不别翻:一与境相应,不违一切法自性故。二与行相应,谓定慧等行相应也。三与理相应,安非安立二谛理也。四与果相应,能得无上菩提果也。五得果既圆,利生救物,赴机应感,药病相应也。此言瑜伽,法相应称,取与理相应,多说唯以禅定为相应。”大日经疏二曰:“瑜伽释为相应,若以女声呼之则曰瑜祇,所谓相应者即是观行应理之人也。”即身义曰:“瑜伽者翻云相应,相应涉入,即是即义。”
瑜伽三密《佛学大辞典》
(术语)瑜伽为相应之义,三密为身口意之三业,手结印,口咒真言,意念本尊,此三密互相即,又佛之三密,涉入行者之三密,谓为相应。以此相应为观行之成就。

又瑜伽师之三密也。真言之观行者,谓为瑜伽师。

瑜伽师地论《佛学大辞典》
(书名)梵名Yogāoāryabhāmi-śāstra,百卷,弥勒菩萨说,唐玄奘译。三乘之行人,谓为瑜伽师。瑜伽师所依所行之境界有十七聚,谓为瑜伽师地,瑜伽师之地也。此论明瑜伽师所行之十七地,故名瑜伽师地论。十七地者,第一五识身相应地乃至第十七无余依地也。玄应音义二十二曰:“瑜伽,此译云相应。一切乘境行果等所有诸法,皆名相应。境谓一切所缘境,此境与心相应,故名境相应。行谓一切行,此行与理相应,故名行相应。果谓三乘圣果,此果位中诸功德更相符顺,故名果相应。师地,师谓三乘行者。由闻思等次第习行。如是瑜伽随分满足,展转调化诸众生,故名瑜伽师。师谓教人以道者之称也。旧经中言观行人者也。地谓境界所依所行。或所摄义,是瑜伽师所行境界,故名为地。即十七地也。”佛去世后一千年中,无着菩萨自阿逾陀国讲堂升夜摩天受于弥勒菩萨,昼日为大众宣说者。本论之著述如下:瑜伽论略纂十六卷,唐窥基撰。瑜伽论劫章颂一卷,唐窥基撰。瑜伽伦记四十八卷(或作二十四卷),唐遁伦集撰。
瑜伽师地论释《佛学大辞典》
(书名)一卷,最胜子菩萨等造,唐玄奘译。释瑜伽师地之名义,略释十七地之名义。
瑜伽座《佛学大辞典》
(物名)修瑜伽行者之座床也。大疏八曰:“住瑜伽座以五轮字持身。”大日经七持诵法则品曰:“阿字遍金色,用作金刚轮。加持下体,说为瑜伽座。”
