甘丹《佛学大辞典》
(寺名)Dgah-ldan,西藏喇嘛教新派黄教之本山。在拉萨Lhasa东北约三十英里。为黄教开祖宗喀巴Tson-kha-pa所创立,西藏四大本山之一也。此语为西藏语,意言乐土,与梵语兜率Tuṣita天之义相当。境内有宗喀巴之墓,殿庑亦极庄丽。
甘珠尔《佛学大辞典》
(杂名)Kanjur,西藏语。为“佛训诫之翻译”之义,西藏佛教本典二藏之一也。具备经律论之三藏,通有一百八十卷。每卷有一千页之多,于一时搬运之,须用犁牛十头。有版数种,而北京版及蒙古板,最为著名。
甘菩遮《佛学大辞典》
(地名)Kamboja,国名。又作剑蒲,绀蒲,略曰甘菩。印度十六大国之一。探玄记十五曰:“甘菩国者,正云剑甫,是北印度。此国多出美女,故以为名也。”华严疏钞四十五曰:“甘菩遮国,正云绀蒲,即是果名。赤白圆满,乍似此方林檎,而复三约横文。此国多端正女人,面似甘蒲,三约文成,以女名国。”
甘蔗《佛学大辞典》
(譬喻)譬物之多者。维摩经法供养品曰:“三千大千世界,如来满中,如甘蔗竹苇稻麻丛林。”

又(人名)释尊五姓之一。佛本行集经五载甘蔗王之次前有王,名大茅草王。舍王位出家,得五通,称王仙。王仙衰老不能行,诸弟子盛之以草笼,悬于木,出而乞食。时有猎者,误王仙为白鸟,射杀之。其血滴处,后生甘蔗二本。炙于日而开剖。一生童子,一生童女。大臣闻而迎取之,养育于宫中。以日光炙甘蔗而生,故名善生Sujāta,以自甘蔗而生,故名甘蔗生Ikṣvāku,又以由日炙故名日种Sūryavaṁśa,名女曰善贤。遂立善生为王,以善贤为其妃,善贤生四子。王后纳第二妃,生一子。第二妃劝王放逐四子于国外。四子在雪山之南建国,姓曰释迦Śākya又号舍夷。即是迦毗罗城也。三子没后,一子为王,名尼拘罗,次名拘卢,次名瞿拘卢,次名师子颊Siṁhahanu,次名阅头檀Śuddhodana,即悉达太子之父王也。佛所行赞一曰:“甘蔗之苗裔,释迦无胜王。净财德纯备,故名曰净饭。”如上所记,本行集经以种为出自甘蔗王之第四王子者。五分律,起释世经,有部律亦与是同。然四分律,长阿含经,大楼炭经,则以为第一王子所出。但无论为何。释种出自甘蔗王则一也。

甘露《佛学大辞典》
(饮食)梵语Amṛta阿密哩多。译言甘露。异名天酒。美露。味甘如蜜。天人所食。光明文句五曰:“甘露是诸天不死之药,食者命长身安,力大体光。”注维摩经七:“什曰:诸天以种种名药,着海中,以宝山摩之,令成甘露。食之得仙,名不死药。生曰:天食为甘露味也,食之长寿,遂号为不死药也。”玄应音义二十二曰:“苏陀味,旧经中作须陀饮,此云天甘露食也。”正法念经九曰:“甘露为毒。”
甘露军荼利明王《佛学大辞典》
(明王)军荼利明王为五大尊之一。军荼利明王有三种:一金刚军荼利,二莲华军荼利,三甘露军荼利。胎藏曼陀罗大钞三曰:“师曰:胎藏界图,三处有之。金刚手院军陀利名金刚军荼利,观自在院军荼利名莲华军荼利,苏悉地院军荼利名甘露军陀利也。既其本誓各别也,故随所用举之。”谷响集七曰:“一家相承有三部军荼利明王,甘露军荼利为佛部,莲华军荼利为莲华部,金刚军荼利为金刚部。”梵语曰阿密利多军荼利Amṛtakuṇḍalin,阿密利多,译言甘露。军荼利,译曰瓶。此明王以甘露之宝瓶为三昧耶形,故名。军荼利仪轨曰:“甘露军荼利,能摧诸魔障。以慈悲方便,现大忿怒形。成大威日轮,照曜无边界修行者暗瞑,速得悉地故。流沃甘露水,洗涤藏识中。”

(图像)甘露军荼利菩萨供养念诵仪轨曰:“军荼利身色,莹如碧颇梨。威光逾劫焰,赫弈佩日轮。颦眉笑怒容,虎牙上下现。千目现不瞬,晃耀皆如日。千手各操持,金刚诸器杖。首冠金刚宝,龙璎虎皮裙。无量忿怒众,金刚及诸天,围绕作侍卫。”又曰:“次说本尊身相,应观四面四臂:右手执金刚杵,左手满愿印,二手作羯磨印,身佩威光焰鬘,住月轮中,青莲华色,坐瑟瑟槃石。正面慈悲,右第二面忿怒,左第三面作大笑容,后第四面微怒开口。(中略)随意所乐,观念四臂八臂乃至两臂千臂。”
