乌《佛学大辞典》
(术语)O,又作鸥,袄,邬,奥,鄂,污。悉昙十二母韵之一。五十字门之一。金刚顶经曰:“污字门一切法瀑流不可得故。”文殊问经曰:“称污字时,是取声。”又大庄严经曰:“唱乌字时,出死瀑流,到彼岸声。”是由Ogha(瀑流)Oḍha(取)之语释之。

ū,悉昙五十字门之一,十二母韵之第四。又作污,忧,优,宇,欧,忧,瓯,乌乌,鸣。金刚顶经字母品曰:“污字门,一切损减不可得故。”文殊问经文字品曰:“称污字时,是损减世间多有情声。”此由ūna(损减)释之。又大庄严经四曰:“唱乌字时,出诸世间一切众生智慧狭劣声。”

乌仗那《佛学大辞典》
(地名)Udyāna,又曰乌杖那,乌苌,邬荼,乌孙,乌你也曩等。国名。西域记二曰:“乌仗那国,唐言苑,昔轮王之苑囿也。旧云乌孙场,或曰乌茶,皆讹。北印度境。”开元录六曰:“乌苌国,正音应云邬荼。”慈恩传二曰:“乌仗那,旧称乌长,讹也。”梵语杂名曰:“乌你也曩。”在北印度境,周五千余里,山谷相属,崇重佛法,敬信大乘。如来昔为哥利王,割截肢体,为尸毗王舍身于鹰等之遗迹皆在此国。见西域记三。即今之Yasefzay也。
乌伽罗国钵《佛学大辞典》
(器名)或作郁伽罗,又名云优伽罗,总是一号。时诸比丘得此国贵好瓦钵,不受,佛听受畜。

乌刍沙摩《佛学大辞典》
(明王)Ucchusma,又作乌枢沙摩,乌刍涩摩,乌刍瑟摩,乌枢瑟摩。乌素沙摩。明王名。译曰不净洁,秽迹,火头等。有转不净为清净之德,因之于厕中祭此明王。陀罗尼集经九曰:“乌枢沙摩,唐云不净洁金刚。”希麟音义五曰:“乌枢瑟摩,或云乌刍摩沙,此云秽迹。旧翻为不净洁,皆讹。新翻为除秽,忿怒尊也。”楞严经五曰:“乌刍瑟摩,于如来前,合掌顶礼佛之双足。而白佛言:我常先忆久远劫前,性多贪欲。有佛出世,名曰空王。说多淫人成猛火聚,教我遍观百骸四支诸冷暖气,神光内凝,化多淫心,成智慧火。从是诸佛,皆呼召我,名为火头。我以火光三昧力故,成阿罗汉。心发大愿,诸佛成道。我为力士,亲伏魔怨。”义疏五下曰:“乌刍沙摩,云火头。”

乌刍沙摩尊形《佛学大辞典》
(图像)尊形为忿怒形,由诸毛孔流出火焰,四臂具足,右手持剑,下手把羂索,左手持棒,次手把三股叉,一一器杖,皆起火焰。见乌枢瑟摩明王经上,图像钞八。若据陀罗尼集经九,则“面貌端正。极令殊好。”非忿怒之形,且四臂之器杖有差违,更有异形。
