(术语)同于称名谓称佛之名号也。
唱寂《佛学大辞典》
(杂语)唱寂灭也。谓佛之入涅槃。涅槃经一曰:“二月十五日,以佛神力出大音声。(中略)大觉世尊将欲涅槃,一切众生若有所疑,今悉可问。”
唱导《佛学大辞典》
(术语)宣唱法而化导人也。佛世以舍利弗,富楼那为第一,梁高法传十科中有唱导之一科。法华经涌出品曰:“是四菩萨,于其众中,最为上首唱导之师。”大部补注九曰:“启发法门,名之为唱。引接物机,名之为导。”梁僧传(唱导论)曰:“唱导者,盖以宣唱法理开导众心也。昔佛法初传,于时斋集。止宣唱佛名,依文致礼。至中宵疲极,事资启悟,乃别请宿德升座说法,或杂序因缘,傍引譬喻。”僧史略中曰:“唱导者,始则西域上座凡趣请咒愿曰:二足常安,四足亦安,一切时中皆吉祥等。以悦可檀越之心也。舍利弗多辩才曾作上座,赞导颇佳,白衣大欢喜。此为表白之推轮也。”
唱礼《佛学大辞典》
(术语)法会表白,终后唱礼,师登礼盘,唱五悔五大愿等之文。谓之唱礼。其唱礼初所唱奉请之佛名,有金、胎、合之三种差别。胎藏界唱礼南无清净法身毗卢遮那佛、南无东方宝幢佛、南无西方无量寿佛、南无南方华开敷佛、南无北方天鼓雷音佛(已下诸菩萨等省略)。金刚界唱礼南无常住三世净妙法身金刚界大悲毗卢遮那佛,南无金刚坚固自性身,南无福德庄严聚身阿閦佛,南无受用智慧身宝生佛,南无作变身阿弥陀佛,南无尽虚空遍法界释迦牟尼佛(已下诸尊省略)。合部唱礼南无胎藏金刚界清净法身大悲毗卢遮那佛、南无东方宝幢阿閦佛、南无南方华开敷宝生佛、南无西方无量寿阿弥陀佛、南无北方天鼓雷音释迦牟尼佛(已下诸尊省略)。依法会而异其所用,例如阿弥陀三昧之时,用金刚界之弥陀唱礼,盂兰盆三昧之时,用胎藏界之弥陀唱礼。
唱萨《佛学大辞典》
(杂语)萨者娑度Śādhu之讹略,善哉之义。玄应音义十六曰:“唱萨,此言讹也。正言娑度,此译云善哉。”
唱衣《佛学大辞典》
(术语)比丘等五众死亡时,其遗物别为轻重之二,金银田园房舍等之重物以之归入常住物,三衣百一众具为轻物,以之分配于现前之僧众,就此分与而不得分与之均等时,则集僧众而竞卖之,平分其价,此竞卖云唱衣。以先定价而唱呼几许也。释氏要览下曰:“唱衣。律云:僧轻物差一五法比丘分与现前僧,为分不均故。佛听集众,先以言白众,和许可卖共分。目得迦云:佛言:初准衣时可处中,勿令大贵大贱,不应待其价极方与之。若不买者故增价,犯恶作罪,大毗婆沙论。问:命过比丘衣钵等云何得分?答:彼于昔时亦曾分他如是财物,今时命过,他还分之。增辉记云:佛制分衣本意,为令在者见其亡物,分与众僧作是思念。彼既如斯,我还若此。因其对治令息贪求故。今不能省察此事,翻于唱卖之时,争价上下,喧呼取笑,以为快乐。愕之甚也,仁者宜忌之。”唱衣之上解不可,反于古意。
