声《佛学大辞典》
(术语)五尘之一。为四大种之所造,属于色法。耳根所对之境也。有八种之别。
声为佛事《佛学大辞典》
(杂语)以声演说法,因而济度众生也。天台维摩经疏二曰:“菩萨观众生眼等六根何根偏利?若耳根偏利即声为佛事。”
声为教体《佛学大辞典》
(术语)佛之教法,以声为体。小乘有部之正义也。俱舍论一曰:“诸说佛教语为体者,彼说法蕴皆色蕴摄。”法华玄义八上举旧解之经体三种,其中第一曰:“如佛在世,金口演说。但有声音诠辩,听者得道,故以声为经。”唯识述记本一论四种之出体,其中第三曰:“能说能听所有名等声上屈曲,故假从实体即是声,是即第三摄假随实。对法论云:成所引声谓诸圣说。”起信论义记上出教体四门中第一之随相门有四句,其第二句曰:“或喻以音声为性,名句文等声上屈曲,假定无体故。杂集论云:成所引声谓诸圣说。”

声尘得道《佛学大辞典》
(术语)观音之圆通也。楞严经,佛对二十五圣,各问圆通门,观音最后答以音声圆通。经六曰:“我今白世尊:佛出娑婆界,此方真教体,清净在音声,欲取三摩提,实以闻中入,离苦得解脱。”是观音自说闻佛所说声尘之说法而圆通得道也。后文殊判诸圣之圆通,以之为圆通至极。是佛之教体,虽涉六尘,而如娑婆世界之众生,为耳根最利之众生,佛以声尘为教体,八万之法藏是也。故观音亦以声为圆通之至法。是为最适娑婆世界之机根者,故文殊特赞称之。

(术语)梵语摄拖苾驮Śabdavidyā,五明之一。瑜伽论十五曰:“当知此处略有六相:一法施设建立相。(中略)云何法施设建立?谓名句文身及五德相应声:一不鄙陋,二轻易,三雄朗,四相应,五义善。”探玄记十二曰:“声论治软智,以解了文章声字。”菩萨持记经三曰:“声论有二种:一者显示界色(字界字缘也),二者显示巧便言辞。”西域记二曰:“声明,释诂训字,诠目流别。今此声明唯论音曲,诵文有高下,唱偈有屈曲。(中略)异五明中声明相状,然亦精音似彼声明。”
