随喜《俗语佛源》
“若见、若闻、若觉、若知他所作福,皆随而欢喜”。隋·吉藏《法华玄论》:据说,“随喜”一切善事,是为了破除嫉妬心和有所得心。后称游览寺院为“随喜”。如唐·杜甫《望兜率寺》诗:“时应清盥罢,随喜给孤园”。也指随同众人做某种表示,如说:随喜,随喜!也算我一份。(禹振声)
随机应变《俗语佛源》
随机见于佛典中的,如“随机说法利众生”(《金光明经最胜王经》卷二);“适化无方,随机隐显”(《戒疏》卷一上)等。“机”皆指众生根机、根器、根性而言,以众生根性各别,必须随其根机,为彼说法,方能领解,各得其益。后多用于成语“随机应变”,指随着时机或情况的变化,灵活应付。如茅盾《腐蚀》:“大有视我为‘同道’,属于他们一伙似的。我当然随机应变,不但夸大了我与舜英的关系,而且暗示着我也参与密勿的。”(禹振声)
随缘《俗语佛源》
是佛教根本理论之一。“理即佛者,不思议理性也。如来之藏不变随缘,随缘不变,随拈一法,无非法界。心、佛、众生,三无差别,在凡不减,在圣不增。”(《教观纲宗》)理性不异不变名“如”,循业发现(随缘)为“来”(色法与心法)。“如来藏”是“一为无量,无量为一”的绝待统一体。“随缘”之义,谓“如来藏”中一切清净法,周遍法界;随众生心,循业发现。众生背觉合尘,故发尘劳,有世间相。诸佛灭尘合觉,故发真如妙觉明性(《楞严经》卷三、卷四)。后以“随缘”表示随其机缘,不加勉强。《北齐书·陆法和传》:“文宣赐法和奴婢二百人,法和尽免之。曰:各随缘去。”又表示听任环境安排,如言“随缘度日”。(禹振声)
